Royal Voluntary Service

Two million documents, 20,000 photographs and thousands of unique items

The Royal Voluntary Service is a volunteer organisation that enriches the lives of older people and their families across Britain. Their Archive & Heritage Collection (A&HC) was set up in 1958 to celebrate their 21st birthday and has continued to collect documents, photographs, artwork, objects and uniforms from the organisation, to the present day.

Our task was to design and produce brochures to promote all these amazing resources to potential supporters and a ‘how to’ guide for Employees and Volunteers. We are hoping our work will help raise the profile of this fascinating archive, and that more people will find it easier to access and utilise this wonderful collection.
