Royal Volunteer Service

Royal Voluntary Service

Two million documents, 20,000 photographs and thousands of unique items of uniform and objects.

The Royal Voluntary Service is a volunteer organisation that enriches the lives of older people and their families across Britain.

We’re very proud to be working with such an important and worthwhile charity on a variety of new projects including these brochures to promote the amazing resource of the RVS Archive & Heritage Collection to potential supporters and a ‘how to’ guide for Employees and Volunteers.

The Royal Voluntary Service Archive & Heritage Collection (A&HC) was set up in 1958 to celebrate their 21st birthday and has continued to collect documents, photographs, artwork, objects and uniforms from the organisation, to the present day.

We are hoping our work will help raise the profile of this fascinating archive, and that more people will find it easier to access and utilise this wonderful collection.
