A great start to 2024

Making waves for a good cause

Our SBW swimming champions are just a few lengths away from completing their epic swim-a-thon charity challenge. Cerys, Chloe and Bogdan have so far swum a whopping 25 miles or 40,071 meters – all in aid of UNICEF’s ‘The Children of Gaza’ appeal. There’s still time to support and donate!

‘Spare’ time well spent together at the bowling alley

Our Bristol team hit the lanes for a fantastic evening of bowling, pizza and more than a few strikes. With over 50 points ahead of the rest of us, Richard clinched the title of SBW Bowling Champion! Needless to say, he’s not let the rest of the team forget it.

Supporting vulnerable Bahamian families during Christmas

“The Giving Tree” initiative from the Bahamas First Insurance supports vulnerable families with gifts and essentials during the Christmas holiday season. We were honoured to donate our creative and project management time to support this project and spread the word about such an important cause.

Workplace Recycling – Let’s get it sorted Wales… 3 months to go!

We’re in countdown mode for Workplace Recycling law change in April, when all Welsh businesses, charities and public sector organisations will need to sort their waste for recycling. This means driving up awareness of the change and support for businesses with this latest phase of the campaign. Hitting the streets and airwaves across Wales, our fully integrated national campaign went live in January, and in case you missed it, here is our billboard in Cardiff Queen Street train station. Find more about the campaign here.

Getting ready for Winter – NHS Recruitment

Winter always adds extra pressure to the NHS and this year was no different. That’s why we started our recruitment and talent attraction activity early, running a series of campaigns since summer 2023, proactively building a pipeline of candidates and filling vacancies, ready for the Winter. Our latest OOH (out of home) campaign was activated across Bristol, Bath, and Cardiff, supported by targeted paid digital and social media targeted to recruit specific vacancies.

Playing our part with Royal Voluntary Service (RVS)

For over 80 years, the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) has been bringing communities together through the actions of volunteers. The ‘Playing My Part’ campaign showcases the inspirational stories and reasons volunteers give back to their communities with the aim of inspiring others to come forward and do the same. We showcased RVS volunteers from diverse backgrounds to change perceptions of who can volunteer. RVS has positions suited to any skill sets, experiences, personalities and perspectives, so anyone who wants to help and play their part, can volunteer. Sounds inspiring? Find out more how you can play your part and volunteer here .

Insect spotting with the Forestry Commission

Can you tell your Ips typographus from a Rhinotia hemisticta? No? We couldn’t either… but it’s important landowners do, as these invasive species have been busy attacking forests across the UK. Our comprehensive visual guide helps landowners identify these unwanted insects and how to manage an invasion. This is the latest of many projects we are working on with the Forestry Commission to help protect our endangered forests.
