Thank you Cardiff Life Magazine for inviting us to their International Women’s Day event which celebrated women while raising money for Velindre Cancer Centre!
We were delighted with the results of our recent UHBW campaign to recruit Mental Health Support Workers. The campaign was so successful in driving applications for the Trust, that we had to close it early due to overwhelming response, with over 200 applicants flooding in!
Our swimming team pushed off one last time and achieving their goal of 40,071m (the length of the Gaza strip), raising £486 which was then matched by SBW meaning a whooping total of £972 donation to UNICEF’s Children in Gaza Crisis appeal. A huge well done to the guys, particularly Bogdan who embraced his limited swimming experience and took to the challenge like a duck to water.
We were overjoyed to have joined the Cardiff Life Awards 2024, celebrating the fantastic achievements of local businesses in Cardiff. Our Senior Account Directors Ida and Emily (who also had the honour to be in the judging panel for the awards) were there to represent the SBW team and to cheer on all nominees and winners. We’re so proud to support local businesses and the amazing people behind them.
The past month has seen a triumphant trio of new contract wins for us get our teeth into. From shining a spotlight on lung health checks, to empowering individuals on their journey to a healthier lifestyle, we cannot wait to start working on more ‘for The Good Stuff’ campaigns following some competitive pitching!
We were thrilled to be invited by both Bristol University and University of South Wales this month to deliver talks about advertising account management and behaviour change campaigns to their students. Richard and Leticia thoroughly enjoyed sharing their know-how, while also having insightful discussions with some very engaged and bright minds. It’s safe to say we were blown away by all the future talent in the making!
No, we haven’t gone mad! The Bristol team celebrated the end of a busy month with a games night that had us all showing our competitive streaks…a word of warning, playing a game of snap with Richard can be dangerous!
Bogdan stepped away from the design studio this month to oversee the filming of an exciting new case study for our Climate Action Wales campaign. The shoot took place at Swansea University, showcasing their popular bike hire scheme which has seen an incredible 280% increase in cyclists across the city in the past 4 years.
Last but certainly not least, a huge congratulations to Ian, our Ops Director, on his recent engagement to SBW alumni Lydia, we look forward to receiving our invites in the post!
