A September to Remember

With lots of exciting campaign launches, new SBW’ers starting and everything in between, it’s been a “September to Remember.”

Climate Action Wales – Together we can make a difference

We are thrilled to see our Climate Action Wales public awareness and change of behaviour campaign finally live on TV and digital across Wales.

Hard work is an understatement to describe all the effort everybody involved put into this campaign, from behavioural research and segmentation (with our partners including BIT – The Behavioural Insights Team, ICARO, Beaufort Research, CAST, Climate Outreach and Cabinet Office) to strategy development, planning, conceptualisation and delivery (WRAP Cymru, National Resources Wales, TfW, Energy Saving Trust, Working Word PR, Equinox PR, Grasshopper PR, OnPar Productions and many other partners and stakeholders). We feel privileged to be working with such an amazing team – thank you all.

The campaign raises awareness of what we can do, individually and as a nation –highlighting the power of collective. There are 3 million of us in Wales and our changes and actions all add up. Together we can make a difference.

Workplace Recycling – let’s get it sorted!

Our Workplace Recycling is all about raising awareness of the new legislation, from 6th April 2024 it will become law for all businesses, charities and public sector organisations to sort their waste for recycling.

This is our second campaign launched this month to tackle climate change, and we couldn’t be prouder to be working with the Welsh Government and partners, playing our part in helping towards achieving Net Zero and a better future.

Keep your eyes peeled for our TV ad which is live now on OnDemand TV (soon on ITV Wales and S4C) as well as digital and social. Thanks Storm & Shelter and all our partners (including WRAP Cymru and Biffa) who supported us with the development and production of this campaign.

Healthy Weight, Healthy You campaign

Healthy Weight, Healthy You for Public Health Wales is also live this month, encouraging and supporting people in Wales to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Cwmdare Community Garden – Climate Action Wales case study film

Our latest Climate Action Wales’ case study featured a community garden in Aberdare, to highlight the impact of this amazing initiative to the local community and the environment. In what used to be an overgrown patch of land full of weeds and litter, the local community has transformed it into a flourishing vegetable garden full of wildlife! Check out our behind the scenes from the shoot day…

SBW Summer BBQ

We got together for our summer barbeque in Bristol to enjoy the last bit of this summer and to celebrate our agency brilliant work over the last 6-months. Ian hosted our much-loved SBW Pub Quiz as we raised a glass (or two) to our progress this year with the best still yet to come!

Meet our new starters!

A big warm welcome to our Amber, Gwen and Shauna!

Gwen (Jr Account Executive) and Shauna (Account Executive) join our Cardiff office, while Amber (Jr Account Executive) joins our Bristol office. We asked them what they’re most looking forward to here at SBW, here’s what they had to say…
