WBW's Leisure Marine Department is focused on the needs of all of those involved with recreational yachting, power boating, sailing and ‘messing about in boats’. We act for boat manufacturers, dealers, boat owners and sailors.

We have successfully represented users in build and purchase agreements, quality issues, negligence, and a whole gamut of issues surrounding boat ownership and use.

For the leisure marine industry, we cover its requirements not only in the UK, but across the world and have been involved as far as the Americas, Scandinavia, Europe and Asia. We are frequently involved in advising on new contractual and distribution issues. If and when things go wrong, we have considerable experience in dispute resolution and litigation.

Leisure marine represents an important facet of our activities. We are represented as director on the board of British Marine Federation South West and South Devon Marine. We are associates to the yacht brokers, designers and fairs association.

Our specialist knowledge can throw a technical, and perhaps sometimes unexpected, light on an otherwise apparently obvious, but wrong interpretation of marine issues.
