SBW is headed by an experienced management team with over 30 years' time spent in the industry, which has included working with some of the leading advertising agencies in London and the South West.

They in turn, can call on a team, which together, deliver a full spectrum of marketing and recruitment advertising expertise. Our people are as unique as the approach we take. Our client services, studio, and accounts teams have a wealth of industry experience gained from all areas of the advertising and marketing industries.

Simon Wright

Managing Director

Simon began his career in advertising as a graduate trainee with a London agency back in the 1980’s. He worked his way through the ranks with a number of large ad agencies culminating in a role as Divisional MD of EuroRSCG Riley, a Board position with responsibility for five of their regional offices.

Having spent his whole career working for others, he decided it was time go it alone when he was made redundant in 2003. Simon has broad experience in many sectors and leads the team ensuring we deliver the highest levels of customer service and continually add value to our clients’ businesses.

Ryan Belbin

Creative Director

After graduating from the University of Humberside with a degree in design, Ryan worked with a number of specialist agencies before joining Euro RSCG Riley in 2001.

Ryan has won a number of national awards for his creativity, and is now fully responsible for the agency’s creative output.

His aim as Creative Director with SBW is to provide work that is striking and effective - as well as communicating the quality and character of our clients to target markets.

Emma Nicholls

Account Director

After graduating in 1993, Emma joined the media and quickly worked her way up through the ranks to Team Manager. After nearly a decade on that side of the fence, Emma swapped the media for the agency side of the industry as an Account Executive at Euro RSCG Riley, quickly progressing to an Account Manager where she had complete accountability for a number of blue chip accounts.

The founding Directors at SBW made a beeline for Emma when SBW opened in 2003. Emma has vast experience in all areas of the advertising mix, helping clients not only meet, but exceed their marketing objectives.

Kathryn King

Kathryn has worked in recruitment and advertising for more than 10 years. Beginning her career with Austin Knight as an account executive, she became a Managing Consultant at an Executive Search & Selection and Response Management company in Cardiff. She worked predominantly with the National Assembly for Wales and a range of manufacturing organisations with a south Wales base - from L'Oreal to LG.

Returning to the agency side of the fence, she joined Euro RSCG-Riley in Bristol as an Account Manager quickly progressing to an Account Director with accountability for a team of four.

Kathryn rejoined forces with previous Euro RSCG Riley colleagues at SBW in March 2008.

Tim Partridge

Sales and Marketing Manager

Tim recently joined the agency after 19 years within the media industry where he cut his teeth firstly working within the sales division for a market leading publisher in the south west before moving to the capital to work as a account manager within the outdoor media industry where he was responsible for growing existing and new business accounts.

Within his new role at SBW Advertising, Tim will be delivering a co-ordinated approach to SBW Advertising's sales & marketing division ensuring a strong focus on customer service across all aspects of the business

Leticia Korin-Moore

Account Manager

Originally from Brazil, Leticia graduated in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting at Cardiff University in 2006. She then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at a web design and Search Engine Optimisation company in Cardiff Bay, specialising in business to business digital marketing. In 2007 she began her career in advertising with TMP Worldwide, where she worked for over two and half years providing recruitment advertising services to public sector and commercial organisations in Wales and the South West. These included handling key accounts such as the Office for National Statistics, Admiral Group, City and County of Swansea and Bristol City Council.

Passionate about customer service, Leticia brings enthusiasm and expertise to her Account Manager role at SBW Advertising; providing integrated marketing and advertising solutions to a variety of clients.

John Struth

Studio Manager

John studied Graphic Design at North Devon College. He cut his teeth at a national comms agency based in Barnstaple, where he started as a Junior Designer and worked his way up to Team Leader.

After relocating to Bristol with his fiancée in 2005, he joined SBW as a senior designer and now plays an active role in the full range of projects that SBW offers its clients, he also manages the studio team.

Paul Jackson

Designer

After graduating from College a with an HND in Graphic Design, Paul worked for the College itself where he ran the Apple Mac Suite and supported the Art/Graphics & Multimedia team. He then moved on to PindarSet Studio producing speculative ads for Yellow Pages, after which he started working for The Creative Consortium in Stroud, dealing with Print, Web & Multimedia Design.

He joined SBW in 2007, adding his experience to boost SBW's design resources, and specialises in 3D Visualisation and animation, as well as all aspects of Multimedia Design.

James Bailey

Web Developer

James has been working with all things 'webby' for the past eight years with Euro RSCG Riley, and is experienced in creating standards compliant web sites, resolving crossbrowser compatibility issues and creating tableless layouts.

He is well-versed in major web design applications such as Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and handcoding valid XHTML and CSS. He is also able to find my his around unobtrusive DOM scripting using the JavaScript framework, Mootools.

James now works freelance as a developer for SBW.

Gemma Janssenswillen

Junior Account Executive

After graduating at UWE in 2007 with a History degree Gemma undertook freelance work as a photographer and stylist as well as completing promotional and temporary assignments.

Gemma’s interest in advertising grew from undertaking promotional work which gave her an insight into brand awareness within the field of the advertising world. From a previous work placement at an agency, Gemma has joined SBW as an Junior Account Executive working across our automotive clients. Her interests include swimming and photography, running and music.

Warren Mitchell

Designer

Starting out his working life as a designer in the print industry, Warren quickly moved to Community Media Ltd as Senior Designer. He then became Production Manager at an advertising agency in Clifton, Bristol.

Warren developed his design skills working freelance with a number of top agencies, including Euro RSCG Riley, where he worked with SBW's founding directors. He has been with SBW since its opening day and is a huge asset to our studio team.

Tina Badley

Finance Co-ordinator

Tina has over 20 years worth of advertising industry experienced gained from gained from working in Client Services for a number of leading agencies such as Rex Stewart, Harrison Cowley, JPH and (Euro RSCG) Riley. Following a career break to bring up her three children, she joined SBW at the start where she ensures that the finance function of the agency runs smoothly.

Graham Spiller

Designer

After completing a degree in graphic design at Falmouth, Graham went on to form a design firm in Bristol with two co-graduates, and spent three years "making things look nice for cash". Following what rock bands might refer to as an "amicable split", he then went solo, and spent a few more years designing print, web, and moving image for various companies in Bristol and Bath.

Graham gets really enthusiastic about the nuts and bolts of language – words, grammar and typography. He refuses to design unless he has a steaming mug of freshly-brewed organic coffee in front of him, and believes a chap can never have too many bicycles. He is currently enjoying the new adventure of looking after his baby boy.

Jon Payne

Online Marketing Manager

For over 10 years Jon has been at the cutting edge of online marketing. With many successful websites under his belt, Jon takes care of the usability, accessibility and online marketing of our clients' websites. And as a Google AdWords Qualified Individual, Jon is ideally suited to making the most of your online marketing budget.

Brian Kings

Account Handler

After retirement from full-time work in May 2008 as an accountant working for 40 years in the retail sector for companies like WHSmith, Texas Homecare, Jewsons and finally, 16 years as Business Management & Franchising Manager for Renault UK Ltd., Brian felt the need of some part-time stimulation in the form of the new challenge of streamlining and enhancing the financial management of SBW Advertising and joined our team in November 2008.

Having slotted into his career 2 years experience with another ad. agency as FD some 20 years ago, Brian is able to combine his wealth of financial experience and knowledge of the advertising & marketing world with recent immersion in the high-octane world of a leading edge national UK company in order to bring a professional financial management stimulus to our team.

Jane Ford

Accounts Co-ordinator

Jane joined our accounts department after previously working in all business sectors for a catering company. For the last five years Jane has been based in the finance department on the Bristol Zoo contract and the Vodafone National contract.

After commuting around the country for the last 10 years, Jane is now pleased to be based in our Bristol office.

Mark Murrant

Junior Account Executive

Mark graduated in 2009 from the University of the West of England with a 2.1 in Marketing. His marketing background lies mainly in the higher education sector; spending his degree placement year as a Marketing Assistant at the University’s Business School, before moving on to work as a Marketing Assistant in the Marketing and Communications department at the University.

As part of his role Mark took on the advertising coordinating responsibilities for the University; developing a passion for all things advertising, particularly working with clients, and decided to pursue this with SBW where he will be handling a range of their automotive clients
